Ye Cats!

Humans have cohabitated with cats for centuries.  They were worshipped as gods in ancient Egypt and continue to work with us in spiritual and magical pursuits today.

Whether your average garden moggy, a lion from the savannahs of Africa, or a jaguar from the jungles of Central America, you can invite their energy into your own workings.  And you need not limit yourself to varieties currently on the planet.  Feel free to invite sabretooth tiger into your menagerie.

Even if your spirit or totem animal is not a feline, you can still ask for the assistance of this family of mammals or a species thereof for your magic or your spiritual exploration journeys.  Research the properties of the cat in question.

Tiger is brave, Lion is self-assured, Jaguar swims and hunts on land or in water, Cheetah is swift.  And who is to say that Caticorns and winged cats don't exist on another plane, from which we can access their energy?
